When evaluating possible indoor air quality problems it is essential to examine the building history, history of complaints, possible sources that might affect air quality and the heating, ventilation and air conditioning systems. A lot of indoor air quality problems occur as a result of poor installation of HVAC systems or not enough thought being given to the building layout during the installation of said systems.
